Aiden by Best Western Darling Harbour

Everything about this hotel was fabulous! We came for my husbands birthday and they went out of their way to make it special for us. Our room had an amazing view of Darling Harbour on the 6th floor, they organised Champagne at a reasonable rate for us and the beds were like sleeping on clouds, they have amazing matress toppers that are super cosy! Breakfast was fantastic, delicious and super fast. The team that work there were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. We chose not to get room servicing everyday but the day we had it they did a superb job and left everything spotless. The deck outside was a nice touch and let you enjoy the view. The location is perfect - it lets you get a few steps in before you head off an eat over on the Harbour.

We booked this hotel at the last minute and got a great deal. We wanted somewhere near the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel. The Aiden couldn't have been closer, just across the road!! It was a small, cosy hotel room and had everything we needed. The showers were excellent, and the bed was super-comfy, and both my husband and I had an excellent night's sleep. We loved how they had both still and sparkling water on tap on each floor for guests to use. Breakfast was good the next day; there was a good variety of foods to choose from. The Aiden is in an excellent location, close to everything we wanted, including the light rail, which we used to get back to Central Station. An excellent stay. Thank you

This is the best hotel room I have experienced! It was my first time booking a hotel in Sydney for my special 21st birthday 🎈. The room was top tier and the atmosphere was clean and gorgeous. Starting from the reception check in , bar, breakfast, seating area, the lifts were great and easy to walk up, the customer service was excellent, check in was really helpful, all of the staff were lovely and friendly, nice place to really relax and wine and dine, breakfast was fresh and clean. The room facilities was great and I had access to everything in there, no things missing, every corner of the room was clean and the balcony was top tier, all clean and ambient. Room tv was working great, bed was really comfortable, air conditioning was easy to adjust, bathroom was easy to walk in and easy to use, toiletries and robes all refreshed and clean. All mirrors was beautiful, all lights were working. I'm so happy with my stay and I will definitely rebook again. Thank you Aiden Staff and Hotel for making my stay Enjoyable and relaxing. Lovely, compact rooms. The city view was worth paying for. High quality extras- tea bags, coffee pods, biscuits and filtered water taps with sparkling water. Downstairs bar has a small but great menu. Included breakfast (if booked) is a la carte. I enjoyed something different from the breakfast menu every day and they were all really excellent. A quiet dinner there was also very relaxing one night. Easy to eat here as a solo traveller; always felt cosy and relaxed. Staff professional and great.

Having an a la carte breakfast included was wonderful. The restaurant is a bit small so sometimes finding a table was challenging but the quality of the breakfast made up for this. Definitely not your average continental breakfast. The location was amazing- as an ex-Sydneysider I had never really spent much time in Pyrmont, but it had so much charm and so close to lots of public transport and activities.
